Meet our crew!

Manager - Wade Lloyd has been instructing for 38 years. His favorite dive site is Bloody Bay Wall in Little Cayman Island.

Kiley Eckert - Kiley has worked at the shop for over a two years as an Open Water Diver instructor, Advanced Instructor and Master Diver Instructor. Her favorite place to dive is anywhere in the Caribbean.

Kaye Bowling - Kaye is one of our Open Water, Advanced, Master Instructors and an Assistant Instructor trainer. Her favorite dive site is Cayos Cochinos.

Sam Bowling - Sam is one of our Open Water Instructors / Advanced Instructor. His favorite dive site is the Russian Freighter in Pensacola.

Darrell Downing - Open Water Diver Instructor / Advanced Instructor. Darrell has been teaching with us for 6 years. His favorite place to dive is the Great Barrier Reef.

Ryan Schoonover - Open Water Diver Instructor/ Advanced Instructor. Ryan has been teaching with us for over 10 years.

OUR STORY

Adventure Sports was established in 1973 and has since trained over 5,000 confident divers in the Auburn and Opelika area as well as Auburn University students. We have been in Auburn since 1978 and recently moved from our original location on Gay Street to our new location on Glenn Ave.

In 1989, Adventure Sports II opened in Montgomery, Alabama.

Adventure Sports is proudly ranked a Diamond Facility with Scuba Schools International (SSI), which is the highest ranking available to a dive center.

Our instructors have over 50 years combined experience, and one of our instructors has been teaching scuba diving for over 25 years!
